Central Districts Show Jumping & Show Hunter Champs

So 5 weeks since our last competitive outing and so was expecting to be a little rusty at Central Districts Show Jumping and Show Hunter Show. Tommy, Potter and Gem were on board as well as Floyd, a horse of Doug's that he is keen for Sally to try.

As expected Tommy was very slack today. He likes the consistency of going every weekend. Bayly rode him well enough but Tommy didn't play his part in the partnership, taking 3 rails in the 1m and a number of rails in the 1:10.

Potter and Korah were double clear in the 90cm for 7th place and double clear in the 1m for 9th place

Gem was clear in the fist round of the 90cm and then Sally thought she had side shift at the first jump in the jump-off. Apparently Gem doesn't come with a side shift button. In the 1m Gem had 8 faults.

Sally rode Floyd for their first competitive outing. They were double clear in the 90cm and had 1 rail in the 1m class in the first round. Floyd was a bit excited in the practice ring to being with but calmed down nicely.
