Feilding IA&P Show

Just travelled through to Feilding for the day on Saturday. Bayly & Korah both got ribbons & although Sally's ponies jumped well she just doesn't seem to be able to buy a clear round at the moment.

Bella was double clear in the 75cm

Tommy was 4th in the 1m with a double clear round and had 2 rails for 8 faults in the 1.05 speed class

Ellie was 5th in the 95cm pony class with a double clear. Just the one class for her today

Gem had 2 rails in the jump off of the 1m pony class & 4 faults in the 1.10 championship. She jumped well.

Japser had 2 rails in the 1.15 and then Sally parted company with him in the double of the pony grand prix

Poter was clear in the 75cm and 4th in the 85cm pony class.

Central Districts Showjumping & Showhunter Champs

Everyone on board this weekend again. All jumped well. Only Ellie brought home a ribbon this weekend. Poter stepped up to 90cm this weekend. He did double clear rounds in the 80cm, 90cm & 85cm

Ellie was 3rd in the 90cm and then jumped well for a rail in the 1m.

Tommy had a weekend of frustrating rails. He had 8 faults in the 1m & 1.05 a& 4 rails in the 1.10

Gem had another consistent jumping show but the rails fell. She had 4 faults in the jump off of the 1m, 4 faults in the 1.10 and then a couple of stops in the 1.10-1.15 mini prix (a very big step up for Gem but she handled it well)

Jasper jumped well but again the rails fell. He again had the fastest time in the 1.15 speed class but with 4 faults and then had a rail & a stop in the pony grand prix (he stopped when Sally asked him to take off far too far away from the start of the combination). 

Bella went double clear in the 80cm and the 85cm classes this weekend.

Waipukurau & Waipawa Sports

Had to take the horse float this weekend as Sunny got to come as well. Fern rode Sunny in the kindy ring for lots of ribbons. Sunny was very well behaved.

Bella was good and got clear round ribbons in the 70cm & 80cm

Potter was good and got clear round ribbons in the 70cm & 80cm

Ellie had a good day. Was 4th in the 90cm and won the 1m class

Tommy jumped well in both the 1m & 1.10

Jasper won the 1.10 class (only class available for him)

Gem had the fastest time in the 1m class but 4 faults and had a stop & rail in the 1.10 class

C&SHB Showjumping Popup Show

With many shows cancelling because of Covid-19 restrictions the C&SHB Showjumping group decided to host a showjumping weekend. Potter, Bella, Ellie, Tommy, Jasper & Gem were all on board for the weekend. Bayly rode Tommy like a star to place 3rd in the 1m horse special 2 phase class on the first day. They then went in the 1.10 for a couple of rails and a circel after a near miss at jump 7. I didn't get any photos of Tommy this weekend. 

Ellie stepped up to 1m and just had 2 rails in both her classes.

Potter was a little fresh in the first 70cm class and then went on to do 3 clear rounds in the 80cm, 75cm and 85cm classes

Bella was a bit of a rascal, thinking she knew best. She had a run out in the 70cm & 80cm on the Saturday and then a rail in the 75cm & a run out in the 85cm.

Gem jumped really well again this weekend. She had a rail in both 1m classes and then jumped in the 1.10-1.15 mini prix for just 2 rails.

Jasper just didn't try hard enough this weekend. He had the first rail in the 1.15 and then 4 rails in the grand prix.

Halloween Pony Club Rally

Lots of fun had today at pony club. We went with the Halloween theme and played lots of games. Gem, Bella, Ellie & Sunny all in attendance today.
