Masterton Showjumping & Showhunter Champs

Had a busy but successful weekend at Masterton.  Bayly had her first outing for the season & first outing on Ellie.

Ellie provided a few challenges but got that elusive clear round on the Monday.

Kip stepped up to 85cm this weekend.

Jasper did a lot of dancing at the weekend but jumped fantastically! We could do without the circus tricks though!

Sally convinced me to let her start in the 1:05 (first start at this height) after they were 3rd in the 1m class & they went on to win it!

Central Districts Showjumping & Showhunter Championships

Sally has had her first weekend of the 2019-2020 season.  Took Kip, Candy & Jasper to Foxton for the weekend.  Ponies went well for their first outing of the season. Kip did just his 2nd & 3rd 80cm rounds for 2 rounds of 4 faults.  Jasper went double clear in the 90cm in the first class & had 4 faults in the 2nd class.

Candy picked up a 2nd in a regular class and a 4th in the Cat A Championship

Jasper had a canter around the showhunters, picking up a 6th in the Championship

A great way to start the season; lessons with Rachel Bird.  Super stoked with how well the ponies went and the girls rode.
