Pongaroa Sports

Great day out at Pongaroa.  Bayly got Champion Pony on Blondie.  Bayly was 3rd in all the games & the showjumping on Bella.  Korah had a great day in the kindy ring & jumped the 40cm showjumping course by herself on Sunny.  Sally & Candy won every class they entered apart from Champion Pony where they were reserve to Bayly.  Sally & Jasper entered 3 round the rings for 3 wins.  Bushy was 2nd in the showjumping to Candy and Kip went double clear in his showjumping.  Was a great day.

Having some fun at home today riding Candy bareback.

Horowhenua IA&P Show

Had a great weekend in Levin.  Went down Wednesday night and got home Sunday afternoon.  Thursday was showhunters, Friday was the training ring and Saturday & Sunday was showjumping.

Kip had his first outing and he found it rather mind blogging but concentrated well to jump for Sally

Blondie was 4th in the 60cm and the 70cm and went clear in the 80cm.

Bella was forever consistent picking up a 6th in the Catergory B showhunter and a 3rd in the 70cm showjumping

Candy had a great show picking up a 5th & 6th in the Category A showhunter along with a 5th in the Category A High Points class.  She also won the 60cm showjumping class.

Jasper also was a complete all rounder.  He was reserve champion Category C showhunter, 4th in the 1m and 2 in the 95cm showjumping classes.

And the girls had a lot of fun on Candy & Bella with Ella Easton on her pony Tui.

We sure have had better weekends than this one.  Between the 3 girls they had 7 falls over the 3 days!!  Still managed some pleasing results.

Candy picked up a 4th & then a 3rd in the Cat A High Points and did some showjumping for a change

Bella was a super star all weekend; forever consistent, with clear rounds in 70 & 80cm both showjumping & showhunters.

Answer Back Cup - Sunny - 2019

Sunny was super for the Answer Back Cup on the Saturday night of the Central & Southern Hawkes Bay Showjumping & Showhunter Champs (she even has her photo in the January issue of the Horse & Pony!!  Big thanks to Anna Trent for being Korah's mentor. Korah received the Fair Play award.
