Central Districts Showjumping & Showhunter Champs (Foxton)

Jasper was amazing in Foxton.  Had 4 starts for 3 placings.  He was 2nd in his first 90cm with Sally (jump off above), 3 in the 80cm & 4th in the 90cm.

Bushy did a great job in Foxton.  He started in the 80cm & 90cm both days but didn't pick up any prizes this weekend.  Very unusual for him.

Candy went and tried her hand at cross country today.  Sally was a bit nervous of the jumps but Candy made light work of it.

Lots of ribbons in the kindy ring for Korah & Sunny and they won the fancy dress, dressed as a unicorn. (Korah rode on her own for the 2nd time).

Korah & Sunny did their first little jump today & won a trophy for best rider and another for most points.  (Korah rode on her own for the first time).

Feilding Spring Show

Good boy Jasper.  Although you didn't concentrate as well today, too busy trying to be social with everyone, you were still double clear in the 80cm, just not quite fast enough today. 

Bush Boy had a rail in the 90cm jump-off and double clear in the 80cm but not fast enough for a place.

Combined Sports

Had our first outing of the new season at the Combined Sports at the Flaxmere Equestrian Park.  Jasper and Sunny's first outing with us.  Jasper had two starts (70 & 80cm) for 2 placings 4th & 2nd.  Good old Bush Boy (26 years) won the 70cm and was 5th in the 80cm after a rider error.

Today we picked up Bailey.  It was very exciting to collect her in Sanson on Hannah's way back to school and meet Hannah's mum Lorna Lane,  Bailey will have the winter off before we bring her back into work in the spring.Exciting times ahead!

Tonto

Tonto's last outing with us today.  He and Korah spent it learning about mounted games at Pony Club.  Tomorrow he will head to Martinborough to teach 3 more children to ride and care for a pony.  We will miss you Tonto!

Pony Club

Sally and Bayly sat their D+ certificate on Tuesday 24th April. They both passed and received their certificate at the final pony club for the season.

C&SHB Show Jumping Champs

Korah did really well today in the Answer Back Cup at the C&SHB Show Jumping Champs. Good boy Tonto.
